TED.com features fascinating presentations an all kinds of topics from world politics to astrophysics. Most presentations include interactive transcripts and subtitle options, so you can read while you listen!

Voicetube is like Youtube, but helps you understand the English used in the videos. There is a paid version, but the free version has many helpful functions. Check it out!

American Rhetoric is a US based site that has an extensive database with hundreds of famous speeches and scenes from movies for a more focused listening practice.

Video.jug: features amateur vidoes of people teaching how to do all kinds of things related to learning and hobbies in English that might be useful to you.

The BBC Learning English Website Includes sections on how to do almost anything with instructions in English, Watch & Listen, the new Talk about English show, Pronunciation, Grammar Challenges, Learner of the Week, and the cool animation serial, Flatmates.

ELLLO (a friendly pronunciation in the UK of hello) is a free online listening resource with over 1,000 listening activities designed especially for ESL and EFL students and teachers. Most listening activities include images with interactive quizzes, and transcripts of the audio.

The BBC's Video Nation is a way to meet people from across the UK and hear what they say about their lives and the world around them! Click to see people doing crazy things, then listen to them tell you about themselves and answer the interactive quizzes.

Randall's ESL Cyber Listening Lab has a lot of interesting exercises for beginner, intermediate, and advanced learners of English with interactive quizzes for general and academic purposes, plus a Language learning and Life tips section, and video clips of long conversations.
