Application guide is distributed at the office counter of Graduate School of Science and Engineering, located on the first floor of the Lecture Hall building. However students are prohibited to enter the Univ. throughout May.
Application guidelines and forms are also available to download from below. You can print it and submit the hard copy.
Those who cannot submit English scores because English tests are not implemented, please refer to here.
Contact hours are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
Application period : From June 8 (Mon)- June 12 (Fri)
Due to various circumstances (eg. supervisor retirement) your application might not be accepted. Thus, please consult it with your appointed supervisor before submission.

Explanatory meetings for every course are hold separately. Those interested in attending to the graduate school, please feel free to join our meetings. Please contact the office for detail.
Disaster Relief Act applies to school expenses for residents of areas affected by natural disasters occurred in the year of the entrance examination to the Saitama University (from April 1st till the time of application). Applicants, who obtain a certificate of complete destruction, destruction by the flood or partial destruction issued by the local government, will be exempted from the examination fee. Applicants who would like to apply for an examination fee exemption shall print out and fill Request for examination fee exemption (PDF file:73KB) Please submit the application documents together with the certificate of damages caused by wind or flood attached. (In this case please do not pay examination fee) However, if you can not submit an appropriate certificate at the time of applying, please submit an examination fee waiver application together with your payment. Examination fee will be refunded after submission of the required certificates.
