環境科学・社会基盤国際プログラム（社会基盤創生コース） 留学生歓迎パーティーを開催 Welcome party hosted by International Graduate Program on Civil and Environmental Engineering

6月9日（金）、埼玉大学生協において、環境科学・社会基盤国際プログラム（社会基盤創生コース）に入学した留学生の歓迎パーティーが開催されました。2016年10月及び2017年4月の新入留学生（出身国：アジアおよびアフリカ12か国）22名を含む在学留学生45名のほか、日本人チューター・国際室/経済経営コース/社会基盤創生コース教職員など、総勢63名が参加しました。

今年度は、経済経営コースと共同でメコンプロジェクトを実施しており、社会基盤創生コースのアジア開発銀行奨学金（ADB-JSP）により、昨年大学間交流協定を締結したラオス国立大学から留学生が1名入学し、共に交流しました。

A welcome party for new foreign students of the International Graduate Program on Civil and Environmental Engineering was held on June 9, 2017 at COOP in Saitama University. A total of 45 foreign students, including 22 new students from 12 countries across Asia and Africa, who were admitted to the program under the October 2016 and April 2017 intakes, were welcomed. The total number of participants reached 63 including Japanese tutors, faculty members and staffs from the Office of International Affairs, the Department of Economics and Management Studies and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

This year the International Graduate Program on Civil and Environmental Engineering initiated Mecon project in collaboration with the Department of Economics and Management Studies. One new student from National University of Laos, with which Saitama university concluded the Memorandum of Understandings last year, was admitted to the Department of Economics and Management Studies under ADB-JSP (Asian Development Bank – Japan Scholarship Program) shared by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, who also joined the party.
