アルゼンチン・コルドバ大学を訪問しました “SU faculties visited Universidad Nacional de Cordoba(UNC)”

平成28年2月24日、本学副学長で国際本部長の中林誠一郎先生と、伊藤博明副学長が、アルゼンチン共和国最古の大学、国立コルドバ大学を訪問しました。シルビア・バレイ副総長ら７名と面談し、両大学の連携の可能性について広く意見交換しました。面談には化学学部（School of Chemistry）の教員３名も出席しており、この分野から連携を始めることで合意しました。会談終了後、広大なキャンパスを車で視察し、化学学部のラボを見学しました。当日は、地元メディアの取材も受けました。
世界遺産に登録されている大学本部を始めとして、コルドバは歴史的に貴重な文化都市であり、今後、人文社会系も含めた連携に発展していくことが強く望まれます。

On February 24, 2016, Dr. Seiichiro Nakabayashi, Vice President in charge of International Affairs, and the Vice President Hiroaki Ito visited Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, the oldest university in Argentina. They exchanged views on academic collaboration with UNC Rector Silvia Barei and other members. 3 faculties from School of Chemistry attended the meeting and helped reaching an agreement on collaboration of their field. After the meeting, the party toured an extensive campus and the Chemistry laboratories, and they were interviewed by the local media in Cordoba. The main campus of UNC is registered as a world heritage site and the Cordoba is historically valuable city so we sincerely hope that the collaboration including Humanities and Social Sciences related areas would be developed in the near future.
