留学生と企業を結ぶ「第5回埼大ワールドカップ」を開催しました

9月6日（土）、埼玉大学総合体育館にて、「第5回埼大ワールドカップ」を開催しました。これは、「フットサルを通して埼玉大学に来ている留学生と、埼玉県内の企業との交流を促進すること」を目的としており、今回で5回目の開催となります。
この大会は、マスダック、サイサン、タムロン、アパマンショップ、ＡＧＳ、浦和工業団地共同組合の計6企業のチームと、マレーシア、ベトナム、バングラデシュ、パキスタン、インドネシア、アフガニスタン、ウクライナ、インドの計8ヶ国のチームが参加しました。参加人数は、ボランティアスタッフを含め総勢約100名を数え、またこの大会は本学フリーペーパ作成のサークルである「ＦＰ」の取材や「ミス埼玉大学コンテスト2014」のファイナリストである教養学部4年の清水みゆきさんや教養学部2年の甲斐晴菜さんの協力もあり、埼大生と地域社会との交流がより一層広がりをもってきました。
フットサル大会の結果は、優勝がベトナムチーム、準優勝がタムロンチーム、3位がアパマンチーム、4位がサイサンチームでした。

交流会では、今回からの試みとして、外国人留学生と企業との混成チームによるリフティング大会やドリブルリレーを行うなど、言葉の壁を越えて多文化理解を進めました。
この大会に参加した留学生・日本人学生からは「普段あまりかかわることがない日本の社会人と交流できるいい機会だと思った。」とのコメントをいただきました。また、企業の方からは「社員にこの経験を通してグローバルな感覚を身につけてもらいたい。」や「学生や留学生に自分の企業を知ってもらういい機会だと思った。」などと語っていただきました。
そして、以下の方から次のような感想をいただきました。

～マスダック　手塚　正臣さん～
「今回も楽しい大会に参加させていただき、ありがとうございました。初めてインドアでの開催となり、フットサルコートでの開催と比べてコンパクトで一体感がある大会だったと感じました。また、交流会も初の試みであるゲームが、コミュニケーションを行う良い機会になったと思います。実行委員も4名ということで、過去の大会に比べ人数が少ないため準備等大変だったと思います。この場を借りて御礼申し上げます。

～ＡＧＳ　橋本　瑞季さん～
「当社は、２回目の参加になりますが、今回は留学生や他企業との混在チーム戦など交
流を図りやすいように工夫されていたため、参加者の方々と親交を深めることができ
ました。普段なかなか外国人の方と接する機会がないため、とても良い経験になりま
した。埼玉県内に本社をおく地元企業として、これからも埼玉大学の皆様との交流を
通じて、地域貢献活動を積極的に推進してまいります。」

～留学生の方々～
①Sheharyar e Rehmat （Pakistan）：
Thank you for arranging the Saidai World Cup.
In my opinion the over all arrangement of the event was well organized and I enjoyed playing the matches with my team as well as playing in combinations.
I have previously attended three Saidai world cup and among all of them, yesterday's event was most enjoyable.
The 'Halal' food arrangement was good especially for muslim students like me.
The dribbling game was an addition and few more such games should be introduced to keep the player's interest in the world cup.
Looking forward to playing the next Saidai world cup.

②Mohammad Rajib（Bangladesh）：
Thank you and your team very much for organizing such events for us. It’s really a nice opportunity for refreshing our mind, as well as interacting with the Japanese companies and other international students.
It was well organized, to my opinion. However, some of the things can be improved (just answering positively to your mail, not criticizing)..
1. The sound system was not clear sometimes. This is not because of bad quality system, rather the room was too big and due to echo, may be the words were not reaching clearly.
2. To my opinion, final several matches with mixed people were too late. We should have organized it before sitting and introducing the companies and prize giving. After sitting for long time and again going for match was not so interesting.
Hope to participate in the December event too.

③Qazi Asif Nawaz（Pakistan）：
First of all I am sorry for late reply. The event, as usual and as expected was fabulous, very very interesting one and a healthy activity. The combined matches of all communities and companies at the end of tournament was even more enjoyable. Last but not least, the drinks and dinner (Kababs) were quite delicious. Hope to get organised such events in the future as well.

④Malik Adnan Anwar（Pakistan）：
Thank you very much for such a nice event.
By the way I just finished watching US Open 2014 semi-final where kei nishikori beat world no.1 Novak djokovich.
I am very happy hope you are too.
